Puerto Rico’s society and business community gathered last February 21 at El Convento Hotel’s Campeche Room for a Gala Dinner and Jewelry Auction under the theme “La Joya de Puerto Rico” to benefit the restoration and conservation of Old San Juan’s historic and architectural jewel, San José Church. World renowned designers, who had graciously donated the stunning jewels for the auction, also attended the event.
